Apprenticeships with Access Training

‘At Access Training our customers (learners and employers) are really important to us, so we listen to their views and aim to exceed their expectations wherever possible’ – Malcolm Armstrong (Chairman)

We gather and analyse the views of our customers through taking part in national surveys or using our own ‘internally designed’ questionnaires to find out what people think, what works well and what can be improved.  Here are some of this year’s findings:

59 employers responded to the government’s 2018 national survey to evaluate the quality of our provision.  Our overall employer satisfaction score of 88% compares favourably to the national average which is 85%, while we were particularly pleased that employers gave a score of 9.34 out of 10 for the professionalism of our staff and 9.21 for the overall quality of training.

65 employers completed one of our own questionnaires during 2018 (usually completed at the end of an apprentice’s training programme).  Scores were high for all questions (all more than 8.89 out of 10 or better).  The highest scores were for ‘helping staff gain qualifications’ (9.43), ‘professionalism of training staff’ (9.46) and ‘supporting staff through their training programme’ (9.48).

Employers were also asked to comment on what they particularly like about Access and what they would like Access to improve.
